Basketball Recap: Buffalo Takes a Loss

Buffalo lost against Fair Grove back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buffalo Bison were outmatched by the Fair Grove Eagles and fell 65-31. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 384th, while the Eagles are ranked eighth).

Buffalo dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Fair Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Buffalo has already played their next game (against Hollister), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fair Grove will face off against Strafford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Fair Grove knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Strafford likes a good challenge.
