Volleyball Recap: Thomas A. Edison Comes Up Short

Thomas A. Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Academy at Palumbo Griffin, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Griffin this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10, 25-15.

Nehemiah Rosado paced Thomas A. Edison's offense, picking up five kills. Rosado got some help from Rodrigo Alvarez and his nine assists. Rosado was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Thomas A. Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-1. As for Academy at Palumbo, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Thomas A. Edison has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Carver High School of Engineering & Science on the 2nd. As for Academy at Palumbo, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against George Washington on the 2nd.
