Soccer Game Preview: Green County vs. Fort Knox

The Green County Dragons will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Fort Knox Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Green County is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They came up short against Boyle County on Tuesday, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, Fort Knox kept a clean sheet against Breckinridge County on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Fighting Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Fort Knox.

Green County took their victory against Fort Knox in their previous matchup back in August of 2023 by a conclusive 15-0 score. Will the Dragons repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
