Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Bloomer

Bloomer entered their tilt with Fall Creek on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Crickets. This was payback for the Blackhawks, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Bloomer was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-23, 18-25, 18-25, 25-16, 15-12.

Kaycee Schmidt was the offensive standout of the game as she had 17 digs and two aces. Those 17 digs gave her a new career-high. Lauren Bleskacek also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Bloomer's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Fall Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-9 record this season.

Bloomer will take on Osceola at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fall Creek, they will challenge Regis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
