After losing to Klawock the last time they met, Craig decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Craig Panthers took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 61-29 win over the Klawock Chieftains. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 27 points or more this season.

Craig found their leader in sophomore Ashlynn Smith, who went 7 for 10 on her way to 22 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Sara Steffen was another key player, going 6 of 11 en route to 13 points and seven boards.

Despite the loss, Klawock still got an impressive performance from Kaiya Marvin, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 13 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Keira Sanderson, who posted five points.

The victory made it two in a row for Craig and bumps their season record up to 10-2. As for Klawock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-10.

Craig didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-37 win against Wrangell on the 25th. Klawock has also already played their next contest, a 44-40 defeat against Non Varsity Opponent on the 25th.
