The home team had come away the winner the last four times Shrine Catholic and Richard had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Knights came out on top against the Pioneers by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won seven in a row.

Shrine Catholic walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 23-25, 25-17, 25-19.

Gabriel Richard hadn't beaten Notre Dame Prep on the road since September 24, 2016 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. Gabriel Richard won by a set and slipped past Notre Dame Prep 1-0.

Gabriel Richard's victory bumped their record up to 13-6-2. As for Shrine Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 7-13-2.
