Baseball Recap: GV Christian Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, GV Christian was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They came up short against the North Summit Braves, falling 13-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Guardians were not able to get on the board.

GV Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dean Cootware, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

GV Christian now has a losing record of 2-3. As for North Summit, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

GV Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-3 loss against Milford on the 7th. As for North Summit, they have also already played their next game, a 10-6 defeat against Ben Lomond on the 10th.
