Baseball Recap: Highland Drops Season-High Score on Campo Verde

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Highland). They blew past the Campo Verde Coyotes 17-6 on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Hawks considering their two-run performance the game before.

Brandon Willson was a standout: he scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Grayson Sparks was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Highland kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in February of 2024.
