Softball Recap: Freeport Takes a Loss

Freeport fell victim to Lynbrook and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 13-0 to the Owls. The Red Devils just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row dating back to last season.

Freeport's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lynbrook, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Freeport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lynbrook, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-14 victory against New Hyde Park Memorial on the 28th.
