Baseball Game Preview: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears vs. Edinburg North Cougars

For the second straight game, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo will face off against Edinburg North. The Bears will square off against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pharr-San Juan-Alamo has ten straight wins, Edinburg North has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Edinburg North 15-0. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Edinburg North, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-23.
