Football Recap: Northwest Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Northwest had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Eunice Bobcats by a score of 16-14 on Friday. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest will head out to challenge Rayne at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eunice, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Jennings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
