Softball Recap: Cuba-Rushford Rebels vs. Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines
Cuba-Rushford had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 8-7 to make it four. They lost 10-3 to the Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines. The Rebels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 4-3.
As for Bolivar-Richburg, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games.
