Volleyball Recap: Tri-County Extends Winning Streak to Seven

With a playoff game on the line, Tri-County rose to the challenge on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Randolph Rockets. The win was nothing new for the Penguins as they're now sitting on seven straight.

One reason for the win was Tri-County's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-9, 25-7.

Cali Eastling paced Tri-County's offense, picking up 15 kills. Eastling got some help from Makenna Rettler and her 14 assists. Finally, Eastling was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Tri-County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 31-5 record this season. As for Randolph, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-22.

As of now, neither Tri-County nor Randolph have any future games scheduled.
