On Monday, the Atlantic Christian Sharks blew past the Odyssey Charter School Titans, posting a 59-30 victory. The Sharks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 26 points or more this season.

Leading Atlantic Christian to victory were Destiny Martinez and Jaidah Chase. Martinez posted 23 points, while Chase earned 23 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Chase has scored at least a third of Atlantic Christian's points.

Despite the loss, Odyssey Charter School still got an impressive performance from Melissa Mayfield, who scored 16 points. Those 16 points gave Mayfield a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Natalia Dejesus Bruno, who put up eight points.

Atlantic Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.6 points per game. As for Odyssey Charter School, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Atlantic Christian has already played their next game, a 58-41 win against Pahokee on the 21st. As for Odyssey Charter School, they will head out on the road to face off against John Carroll Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. John Carroll Catholic will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Odyssey Charter School surely won't give up without a fight.
