Softball Game Preview: Butler County Bears vs. Grayson County Cougars

Butler County is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They will be playing at home against the Grayson County Cougars at 5:30 p.m. Butler County will be strutting in after a win while Grayson County will be coming in after a loss.

Butler County took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Franklin-Simpson by a score of 6-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Grayson County had taken Breckinridge County down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. Grayson County fell 8-5 to Breckinridge County. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Butler County's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Grayson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
