Zanesville hadn't done well against Johnstown-Monroe recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Blue Devils' defense stepped up to hand the Johnnies a 2-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Zanesville sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Connor Baldwin and Reece Neal scored both of Zanesville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

Zanesville now has a winning record of 7-6-2. As for Johnstown-Monroe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7-1.
