Softball Game Preview: Booker T. Washington Wildcats vs. Pensacola Tigers

Booker T. Washington is on a six-game streak of home losses, and Pensacola a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Booker T. Washington Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pensacola Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Booker T. Washington came up short against Baker on Monday, falling 26-8.

Lana Van Wyck was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylar Brown, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs.

Pensacola couldn't beat Pensacola Catholic on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Tigers lost 17-7 to the Crusaders.

Arieyanna Kirkland made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Pensacola's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Booker T. Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-19.
