Volleyball Game Preview: Animo South Los Angeles Panthers vs. Firebaugh Falcons

The Animo South Los Angeles Panthers will head out to face off against the Firebaugh Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Animo South Los Angeles will be strutting in after a win while Firebaugh will be coming in after a defeat.

It was a proper cat-fight when Animo South Los Angeles took on Middle College on Friday. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Cougars.

Animo South Los Angeles had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Firebaugh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Norwalk, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-14.

Firebaugh's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Animo South Los Angeles, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9.
