Volleyball Recap: Roma Comes Up Short

Roma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots, falling 3-0. The Gladiators were not able to make up for their loss to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-6.

Roma's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mission Veterans Memorial, their victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

Roma has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against McAllen on the 22nd. As for Mission Veterans Memorial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North on the 22nd.
