Baseball Recap: Wyoming Seminary College Prep Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Wyoming Seminary College Prep dropped their record down to 14-7 on Friday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins on the road. They fell 6-2 to the Holy Redeemer Royals. The Blue Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Royals earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Wyoming Seminary College Prep saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leo Nockley, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

As for Holy Redeemer, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games.

On Holy Redeemer's side, Drew Cisney was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Those 11 strikeouts gave Cisney a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Alex Gordon was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Jett Kelsall was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
