Football Game Preview: Coosa Eagles vs. Chattooga Indians + How To Watch

Coosa hasn't had much luck against Chattooga recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Indians at 7:30 p.m. Coosa has given up an average of 30.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Coosa is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Gordon Lee on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Eagles were outmatched by the Trojans and fell 45-7. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Chattooga, who bounced back after a loss on the road on October 10th. They walked away with a 28-21 win over Dade County on Thursday.

Coosa's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Chattooga, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Coosa was able to grind out a solid win over Chattooga when the teams last played back in November of 2024, winning 34-27. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Indians' Zayden Cook, who rushed for 312 yards and four TDs while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 36 receiving yards.
