Football Game Preview: Hulbert Riders vs. Rejoice Christian Eagles

Hulbert is 0-3 against Rejoice Christian since October of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Riders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Hulbert turned things around against Warner on Thursday. They snuck past the Eagles with a 26-22 win. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Riders were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Rejoice Christian humbled Chouteau-Mazie with a 65-8 victory. Considering the Eagles have won six games by more than 20 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Hulbert's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-4. As for Rejoice Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
