Softball Recap: Bourbon County Comes Up Short

Bourbon County had lost two consecutive heartbreakers to George Rogers Clark and they left with a heavy heart again on Monday. The Colonels came up short against the Cardinals, falling 11-1. The Colonels have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Bourbon County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for George Rogers Clark, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 27-12.

As of now, neither Bourbon County nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
