Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Somerset Berkley Regional walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Minnechaug Regional Falcons on Friday as they made off with an 84-58 win. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Somerset Berkley Regional's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brendan Mcdonald, who dropped a triple-double with 17 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. Colten Pacheco was another key player, shooting 58% from the field en route to 21 points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Somerset Berkley Regional smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Somerset Berkley Regional's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-1. As for Minnechaug Regional, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

Looking ahead, Somerset Berkley Regional will be playing at home against Leominster at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Somerset Berkley Regional's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Minnechaug Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
