            Football Recap: Destin Sharks vs. Booker T. Washington Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Destin had lost three straight at home, but  on Friday they dropped down to 1-8 to make it four. They were dealt  a  43-7 defeat at the hands of the Booker T. Washington Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sharks of the  49-8 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2024.
 Hampton Woodham threw for 45 yards  on five of 15 attempts.   Junior Harris was his top target, picking up 39 receiving yards.
As for Booker T. Washington, they now  have a winning record of 5-4. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
  Caden Osborn had an outrageously good game as he threw for 281 yards and four  TDs while completing 80% of his passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Booker T. Washington's success: the team is 3-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise.  Rayshawn Alexander was in the mix  as well, providing the Wildcats with two scores.
 Coming up, Destin will venture away from home to  challenge Port St. Joe  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. That  game will pit two of the most dominant  backs against one another:  Harris and  Eli Harris. Booker T. Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
