There's no place like home for Matanzas, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Father Lopez Green Wave on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Green Wave back in September, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Matanzas not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Father Lopez between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19, 25-16.

Matanzas' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Analise Smith, who had 11 assists and seven digs. That's the most assists Smith has posted over her last four contests.

Matanzas was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Father Lopez only served six.

Addie Sheridan and Fern Sheridan certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Addie had 13 digs, while Fern had 16 digs. Fern is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Matanzas now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Father Lopez, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.
