Softball Recap: Shead Takes a Loss

Shead was the 20-19 winner over Searsport when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 13-8 to the Vikings on Monday.

Shead dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Searsport, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Shead will face off against Schenck at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Searsport, they will square off against Piscataquis at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pirates have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.36 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of.
