It's playoff time, and Chireno had no trouble coming through when it counted. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Timpson Bears 67-38. The Owls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 26 games by 22 points or more this season.

Timpson's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Natalie Johnson, who posted 11 points, and Taylor Stewart, who put up eight points and six boards.

Chireno's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 31-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points over those games. As for Timpson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-15.

Coming up, Chireno will square off against Douglass on Thursday. Douglass knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Chireno likes a good challenge. Timpson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
