Volleyball Recap: Kearns Takes a Loss

Kearns was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jordan Beetdiggers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

While Kearns ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17.

Kearns' loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Jordan, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

While Kearns had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
