Baseball Recap: Lyon County Comes Up Short

Hilliard Bradley hit Lyon County with a six-run seventh inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Lyons lost 9-2 to the Jaguars. The Lyons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hudson Phillips was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Colton Prow also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Lyon County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Coincidentally, Lyon County and Hilliard Bradley will both be playing Downers Grove North the next time they take the field. The Lyons will head out to face the Trojans at 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Jaguars will head out to face them at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
