Softball Game Preview: Redmond Panthers vs. Ridgeview Ravens

Redmond hasn't had much luck against Ridgeview recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Panthers will host the Ravens at 4:30 p.m. Redmond has given up an average of 11.1 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Redmond is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 19 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Caldera on Wednesday. They lost 17-1 to Caldera.

Meanwhile, Ridgeview has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.41 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mountain View. The loss was the Ravens' first of the season.

Redmond's loss dropped their record down to 5-15-1. As for Ridgeview, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 21-1.
