Baseball Recap: Point Arena Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Point Arena finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Grace Christian Academy Lions. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Point Arena's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Grace Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Point Arena is taking a road trip to face off against Laytonville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.5 runs per game on average), something the Pirates will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Potter Valley at 4:00 p.m.
