Basketball Recap: Four Straight Road Wins for Malakoff

Malakoff's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They snuck past the Winona Wildcats with a 46-40 victory. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in January, they had to take a 39-33 loss.

Malakoff's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points per game. As for Winona, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Coincidentally, Malakoff and Winona will both be playing Eustace the next time they take the court. Malakoff will host Eustace at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Winona will host them at 6:30 p.m. on February 7th.
