Volleyball Game Preview: Evangel Christian Academy Eagles vs. To'hajiilee Warriors

After both having extra time off, the Evangel Christian Academy Eagles and the To'hajiilee Warriors will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Evangel Christian Academy is leaving town to face To'hajiilee after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Eagles lost 3-0 to Maxwell back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-18.

Meanwhile, To'hajiilee came up short against Hozho Academy last Saturday and fell 3-1. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wolves 25-17 in the first set.

To'hajiilee started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 17-25, 27-25, 25-22, 25-18.

Evangel Christian Academy couldn't quite get it done against To'hajiilee in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
