Basketball Recap: Baird Comes Up Short

Baird was the 57-37 winner over Strawn when they last played one another back in February of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Baird Bears took a 47-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Strawn Greyhounds on Friday.

Baird's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Strawn, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season.

Baird will take on Ranger at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Baird is facing Ranger at the right time seeing as Ranger is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Strawn, they will square off against Gordon at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Gordon will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Strawn surely won't give up without a fight.
