Volleyball Recap: Carmel Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Cathedral

Carmel faced Cathedral in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Greyhounds fell 2-0 to the Fighting Irish. The Greyhounds haven't had much luck with the Fighting Irish recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Carmel lost, don't look at Griffin Holdcraft. Despite the final result, he had 12 digs and one assist. Ian Czarnecki also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.
