Volleyball Recap: Queen Creek Takes a Loss

Queen Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gilbert Tigers. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Queen Creek still got an impressive performance from Alexis Ramirez, who had 21 digs and four assists. Ramirez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Queen Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Gilbert, with the victory, they broke their six-match losing streak and moved their record to 10-12.

Queen Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Williams Field on the 27th. As for Gilbert, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Higley on the 27th.
