Baseball Game Preview: Lynnwood Royals vs. Shorecrest Scots

For the second straight game, Lynnwood will face off against Shorecrest. The Royals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Scots at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lynnwood hadn't beaten Shorecrest on the road since April 15, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Royals came out on top against the Scots by a score of 5-2.

For Shorecrest's part, Hudson Ekstrom was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was Ekstrom's first of the season. Quinn Burnham was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

Lynnwood's win ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-12. As for Shorecrest, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
