Volleyball Recap: Fort Zumwalt East Takes a Loss

Fort Zumwalt East lost against Washington two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions came up short against the Bluejays, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 25-14.

Fort Zumwalt East dropped their record down to 2-10 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Washington, they moved to 10-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Looking ahead, Fort Zumwalt East will face off against Fort Zumwalt North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washington, they will take on Linn in a tournament on October 4.
