Basketball Game Preview: Pandora-Gilboa Rockets vs. Fort Jennings Musketeers

The Pandora-Gilboa Rockets are taking a road trip to square off against the Fort Jennings Musketeers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pandora-Gilboa lost 55-34 to McComb on Thursday. The Rockets haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 58-24, which was the final score in Fort Jennings' tilt against Elida on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Musketeers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 526th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 242nd).

Pandora-Gilboa now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Fort Jennings, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Pandora-Gilboa and Fort Jennings were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but Pandora-Gilboa came up empty-handed after a 51-50 loss. Can Pandora-Gilboa avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
