Football Recap: New Holstein Starts Season with Win Against Southern Door

New Holstein gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took down the Southern Door Eagles 36-20. The win was all the more spectacular given the Huskies' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 250th, while the Eagles are ranked 115th).

Looking ahead, New Holstein is taking a road trip to challenge Waupun at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southern Door, they will take on Shiocton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
