Volleyball Recap: Pavilion Comes Up Short

Pavilion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Perry Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Pavilion's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Perry, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pavilion will face off against rival Keshequa at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Perry is set to square off against their familiar foe York at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
