Basketball Recap: Gordon Skates Past Baird with Ease

Gordon waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Baird Bears 80-20. Given the Longhorns' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 385th, while the Bears are ranked 1075th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gordon is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Baird, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Coincidentally, Gordon and Baird will both be playing Ranger the next time they take the court. Baird will head out to face Ranger at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Gordon will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
