Soccer Recap: Kemp Gets the Win

Kemp's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged the Venus Bulldogs out 2-1.

Roger Vargas-Capilla and Cesar Lopez scored both of Kemp's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Kemp's win bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for Venus, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-4-1.

Kemp will face off against Sunnyvale at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sunnyvale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season. As for Venus, they will take on Godley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Venus is facing Godley at the right time seeing as Godley is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
