After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Denbigh Baptist Christian, Broadwater Academy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Nandua Warriors. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-21.

Broadwater Academy found their leader in freshman Caroline Caison, who had five digs and three aces.

Broadwater Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 31 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Broadwater Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Nandua, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Broadwater Academy will take on Portsmouth Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Nandua and Northampton will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Warriors their first taste of in-conference action this season.
