Grove had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They escaped with a win against the Jay Bulldogs by the margin of a single free throw, 39-38. Given the Ridgerunners' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 171st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 385th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Grove is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Jay, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Grove has already played their next game (against Miami), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jay will host Salina at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jay is facing Salina at the right time seeing as Salina is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
