Baseball Recap: Linden-Kildare Tigers vs. Maud Cardinals

Linden-Kildare can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. They blew past the Maud Cardinals 11-4. The victory was just what Linden-Kildare needed coming off of a 6-0 loss in their prior match.

Peyton Foreman was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Foreman was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with a triple and an RBI.

In other batting news, Linden-Kildare got a massive performance out of Max Belford, who scored two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Tylton Surratt was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 4-for-4.

Like Linden-Kildare, Maud also got a great game from a two-way player: Rip Thomas. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (he also didn't allow any walks). Thomas was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
