Carroll has gone 9-1 against Fort Wayne Northrop recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Chargers will square off against the Bruins at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Carroll is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Homestead: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Chargers blew the Spartans out of the water with a 49-0 final score. The game marked the Chargers' most dominant win of the season.

A big part of Carroll's victory came down to the chemistry between Gabe Frisinger and his top target Jaidon Vanpelt. Frisinger threw for 248 yards and two TDs on only 18 passes while Vanpelt picked up 166 receiving yards and one score. Vanpelt's longest reception was for an impressive 67 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total. Mason Baughman did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 95 receiving yards.
Carroll didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Homestead to a completion percentage of just 48%. The Chargers weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 68.4%.
Carroll's defense didn't let Logan Frieden, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. Evan Brubaker was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. Linkoln Grabner got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Northrop hadn't done well against Fort Wayne Snider recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bruins blew past the Panthers 35-14. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bruins' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Panthers are ranked 137th).
Carroll better keep an eye on David Callison. He was instrumental in Fort Wayne Northrop's win, throwing for 335 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per attempt. Those 335 passing yards gave Callison a new career-high. Fort Wayne Northrop's leading receiver Jaxson Robinson was Callison's top target yet again, picking up 81 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
Fort Wayne Northrop didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dee Hogue and Kamarii Underwood. Hogue is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least eight every time he's taken the field this season.
Carroll is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.2 points over those games. As for Fort Wayne Northrop, their record is now 6-1.
We should be in store for an exciting game as Carroll and Fort Wayne Northrop have no problem gaining yardage. The Chargers have been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 351.3 total yards per game. However, it's not like Fort Wayne Northrop struggles in that department as they've been averaging 398.6 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.
Everything came up roses for Carroll against Fort Wayne Northrop in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 48-18 victory. In that matchup, the Chargers amassed a halftime lead of 34-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
