Volleyball Recap: Bolingbrook Raiders vs. Neuqua Valley Wildcats
Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Bolingbrook couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Neuqua Valley Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in April.
Trevor Wardlow paced Bolingbrook's offense, picking up 20 kills. Wardlow got some help from Daniel Kaduthodil and his 37 assists. Angel Gonzalez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Neuqua Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dhruva Jasti, who had 36 assists and ten digs. Those ten digs gave Jasti a new career-high. Colin Loehrke was another key player, getting ten digs.

Bolingbrook moved to 29-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Neuqua Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-11.
Bolingbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Neuqua Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Glenbard West on the 31st.
