Basketball Recap: Slidell Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Slidell couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 50-38 to the Lipan Indians on Monday. The Greyhounds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2019.

Slidell's loss dropped their record down to 25-9. As for Lipan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 19 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 24-11 record this season.

Slidell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lipan, they will challenge Lindsay on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Lindsay sitting on four straight victories and Lipan on 13.
